EdventureCo wins Bronze Stevie Award in 2022 International Business Awards

EdventureCo, a B Corp certified premium provider of digital, soft, and future skills training, is pleased to announce that it has been honoured by the International Business Awards (IBAs) with a Bronze Stevie Award under the Achievement in Growth category.

The International Business Awards are the world’s premier business awards program. Also known as the International Stevies, the IBAs recognise the remarkable achievements of individuals and organisations worldwide.

This year, EdventureCo received the Bronze Stevie Award for its transformational growth in financial year 2021, growing its EBITDA by 147% during this period1. The company’s performance during the pandemic enabled it to thrive even when faced with the challenges of COVID lockdowns.

EdventureCo redesigned more than 95% of its courses for online delivery and shifted to a virtual instructor-led training (VILT) format. This allowed DDLS – EdventureCo’s digital skills training provider – to continue its training and support of clients at a critical time when many organisations started relying heavily on IT teams to support their virtual workforces.

Following the pivot, EdventureCo recommenced its strategy to broaden course offerings and grow its presence across Asia-Pacific, particularly focusing on the digital skills training sector. Growth drivers included:

1. Upskilling employees to counteract disruption from automation

2. Reskilling those affected by COVID-19 in cybersecurity to meet client demand

3. Upskilling and reskilling employees to meet IT industry demand

Comments from International Business Awards Judges included:

“Any organisation that takes care of its triple bottom (planet, people, and profit) is bound to grow exponentially. EdventureCo is a living testament to that.”

Observing a growth of 147% is extremely remarkable, especially during a pandemic. Arowana definitely deserves an award for its growth during such a hard time all over the world.

“Impressive growth in both revenues and underlying earnings. Congratulations on your achievements.”

The recognition is the second Stevie Award for EdventureCo this year. In June, the company also received the Asia Pacific Gold Stevie Award under the category Innovative Achievement in International Expansion.
